In order to uphold and protect the highest standards of ethics in human relations, business conduct, and integrity in all types of transactions and interactions, Independencia has established a channel that allows any individual to submit comments or reports regarding any activity carried out by a company employee, supplier, client, or third party that may constitute a violation of laws, regulations, the Code of Ethics, internal policies, or ethical principles in general.
Reports can be submitted either nominatively or anonymously. A report is considered nominative if it includes sufficient information to identify and contact the reporting individual. Otherwise, it will be classified as anonymous. In the case of an anonymous report, the complainant must provide or attach supporting evidence; otherwise, the report will not be considered.
All reports submitted through this channel will be received by the Compliance Officer and the directors who are part of the Audit Committee. This Whistleblower Channel is not an emergency service, a commercial complaint channel, or a customer service platform. It should not be used to report matters that may pose a threat to personal safety.
Reports can also be made through a meeting, by sending an email to denuncias@independencia-sa.cl, or by mailing a confidential letter addressed to the Compliance Officer or the directors of the Audit Committee at Rosario Norte N° 100, Office 1501, Las Condes, Santiago.
